About Grace
Grace Campbell Smith is an artist based in the Pacific Northwest whose work blends her lifelong love of painting with inspiration drawn from nature, travel, and color. Raised in Seattle, Washington, she grew up painting and studied art throughout school. Her degree from University of Portland is in Economics and French. A defining experience was studying art history abroad in the South of France, particularly in Arles, and neighboring towns in the South of France where van Gogh created many of his iconic works as well as her travels to Paris which deepened her passion for color, light, and art history.
Grace's work pulls from her connection to the Pacific Northwest, her love of hiking, going to the coast, skiing, and the outdoors, and the joy of building a life with her fiancé. She also draws inspiration from interior design, fashion, and the emotional landscape of everyday moments.
Her current series, Falling Into Place, was created after she pivoted from her office job to build her art career. It explores organic forms, seasonal palettes, and the feeling of life settling into her authentic path.
